Education Opportunities
The Northeastern Indiana Association of REALTORS® have classes available to its membership through shared services with Upstar Alliance of REALTORS® or the IAR’s school, RECP, whether classes are attended at our Board Office in Kendallville or members may take the course on line.
Lunch & Learn
NEIAOR present a monthly educational seminar, known as Lunch & Learn, on the third Thursday of each month except for November and December. Topics are related to REALTOR® concerns that may stem from the newest trends in prospecting, legal issues in our business, to your own personal safety. NEIAOR invite knowledgeable professionals in the topics that are being presented.
Technology Education
Technology use is a big part of a REALTOR®’s lively hood with little time to grasp all the changes. Northeastern Indiana Association of REALTORS® has partnered with Upstar Alliance of REALTORS® to better prepare our members adapt to the many changes in the MLS, zipforms®, Sentrilock, Realist, RPR as well as many other programs used by our membership. A monthly training session is schedules at the Board Office. Bring your own computer, laptop, tablet and follow along with actual learning situations.
Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy helps identify emerging leaders from local association, trains and motivates them to exert a positive influence on the future of the REALTOR® organization, their profession and the real estate industry.
This is an opportunity given to our membership through the IAR. It is a one year commitment to help understand the inner workings of our profession as well as gaining self confidence in your business.

Broker and Managing Broker CE
The state of Indiana requires all licensed real estate Brokers to complete 12 hours of continuing education each year. A year in CE terms = July 1 – June 30. The exceptions are for Managing Brokers and those Brokers newly licensed since July 1, 2014.
Managing Brokers: The following applies to you even if you are by yourself or have functioned as a MB for any time – not matter the length – during the CE year (July 1 – June 30). Your 12 hours must include 4 hours of state approved Managing Broker CE.
NAR Quadrennial Code of Ethics Training
Members are required to take 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics training every three years. The current training cycle is 2022 – 2024. Online COE training is available at no-charge. Find out more.
